Puuuuurrrrrrr! I do not have any duties on this ship, except making sure I am fully pampered to. As long as I have my fluffy pillows to nap on, I am a happy old girl. And lots of treats, of course, as my belly must be full at all times. My preference is for ice-cream and milk, but alas I am usually offered hard cat kibble. Disgraceful. I am much wiser than the other animals on board; they are always darting around in alarm in a most undignified manner. Relax! I tell them time and again; I’ll let you know when it’s time for panic. You must maintain your composure at all times. I insist on being brushed everyday; otherwise I get terrible hairballs, and those are oh so unbecoming. Simply shameful to be hunched over on the floor at night hacking like mad and waking everyone up. Not acceptable at all. My rule for petting: at least once per hour -- but you must do it the way I insist and stop immediately when I command. Otherwise, you will feel the wrath of my teeth upon your hand! Luckily for you though, I have less teeth than I used to when I was a mere maiden. In order to maintain my exquisite looks, I am required to sleep, at a minimum, 23 hours per day. I prefer to sleep in the middle of the floor stretched comfortably in front of the heater, but sadly, my attendants do not respect my space and step on me all the time. The teeth come in handy for this, too. Oh lovely! It's time for my hourly snack so I must depart. Good day to you! |
